Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 July 2026
Payslip Studio is a static web page. Everything you type, upload and print is processed by your own browser on your own device. There is no account, no database, and no server that receives your payslip.
The short version. We never see your payslips. Employee names, salary figures, ID numbers, logos, signatures and stamps stay on your device and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
1. Who is responsible
This site is operated by Muhammad Arslan Thaheem, a software engineer based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. For any privacy question, write to thaheem001@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
Payslip content: nothing. The form fields, line items and the images you upload are held in your browser's memory and in its local storage. They are not sent anywhere.
| Data | Where it lives | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Company details, employee details, salary figures | Your browser's localStorage, under the key payslip-studio:v1 |
Only you, on this device and in this browser |
| Logo, signature and stamp images | Converted to data URLs in the same local storage entry; large images are downscaled first | Only you |
Exported .json file |
Your own downloads folder, when you press Export data | Only you, and anyone you choose to send the file to |
| Generated PDF | Produced by your browser's own print dialog, saved where you choose | Only you |
We use no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting and no third-party scripts of any kind.
3. Requests that do leave your device
Loading the page itself involves two ordinary web requests. We want to be precise about them:
- Hosting (Vercel). The site is served by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel processes the technical information needed to deliver a page — your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string. This is standard server logging, retained by Vercel under their privacy policy. It contains no payslip data.
-
Fonts (Google Fonts). The page loads the Poppins and JetBrains Mono
typefaces from
fonts.googleapis.comandfonts.gstatic.com. That request discloses your IP address and user-agent to Google. No payslip data is included. If you would rather avoid it, block those two hosts — the app still works and simply falls back to a system font.
4. Legal basis and your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or erase on your behalf. You already have complete control:
- See your data — press Export data to download everything the app holds, as readable JSON.
- Erase your data — clear this site's storage in your browser settings, or use your browser's private/incognito mode so nothing is kept at all.
- Move your data — the exported JSON re-imports on any device.
If you are in the EU/UK and believe the hosting or font requests described above affect you, you may contact us at the address in section 1 or complain to your local data protection authority.
5. Local storage in detail
Local storage is not a cookie and is never transmitted with requests. It persists until you clear it. Note that anyone with access to your device and browser profile can open this site and see the last payslip you worked on — if you are on a shared or public computer, clear the site data when you are done, or use a private window.
Storage is limited (typically around 5 MB). If a very large logo or stamp exceeds it, the app tells you so and asks you to use Export data instead. Nothing is silently sent elsewhere to make room.
6. Children
This is a payroll tool intended for adults acting for a business or for themselves. It is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, of any age.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Because we hold no contact details for you, we cannot notify you individually — please re-read this page if the topic matters to you.

Please note. This policy describes how this website behaves; it is written in plain language and is not legal advice. If you deploy your own copy of Payslip Studio, or operate it under a company name, have a qualified adviser review it against the rules that apply to you.
