How to create a salary slip

1. Pick a template and an accent colour that matches your brand.
2. Add your company — wordmark or uploaded logo, registered name, address and contact line.
3. Set the pay period — period title, date range, credit date, issue date and a reference number.
4. Enter the employee record — name, employee ID, designation, department, joining date, payment mode and account.
5. List earnings and deductions — add as many lines as you need; gross, total deductions and net pay recalculate as you type, and blank amounts print as “—”.
6. Sign it off — upload the authorised signature and company stamp, and name the signatory.
7. Save as PDF — choose A4, margins None, and tick Background graphics.

What belongs on a payslip

Requirements differ by country, but a slip that will stand up to scrutiny generally shows the employer's name and address, the employee's name and identifier, the pay period, a line-by-line breakdown of gross earnings, each statutory and voluntary deduction, the net amount payable, the payment date and method, and an authorised signature.
